Christian Life Counseling

"(God) comforts us in all our troubles, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort which we ourselves are comforted by God."
II Corinthians 1:4.
"A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken"
Ecclesiastes 4:12.

Christian Life Counseling
Christian Counseling specifically incorporates how to handle life from a biblical worldview. As a Board Certified Professional Christian Counselor, together we discover what God has to say about your life, your life's circumstance and how He wants you to live.

Christian Life Counseling is for those that are specifically seeking to incorporate a biblical worldview into their journey to overcoming struggles in personal or spiritual growth that are blurring direction and purpose. Working with Christian women in ministry, mental health and law professionals experiencing life stressors, career and event transitions as well as other life obstacles interfering with personal, spiritual and professional growth. By viewing struggles from a biblical perspective, and applying God's truth to what you are struggling with, together, we can build an alliance for hope, healing, and purpose, uncovering belief patterns and perceptions that are holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life that God has planned for you.

My Faith Journey
I too came to the beginning of my end and mustered up the strength to seek help for my pain. For many years, I unknowingly struggled with anxiety and obsessive behaviors. To relieve the symptoms of the anxiety, I turned to unhealthy coping mechanisms such as drinking, obsessive controlling behaviors, isolation, and relationship seeking. After many failed relationships and years of carrying feelings of overwhelm, guilt, regret, hopelessness, and disappointment, I became willing and the Lord worked with me building  a relationship with Jesus Christ and a surrendered life to Him . As I began living this new life, I falsely believed that I and my circumstances would miraculously get better. Admittedly, right away, I did not get better and my circumstances seemed to get even worse. In fact, I fell deeper into anxiety and depression and lived in abuse. However, as I continued to cling to God, he strengthened me (2 Timothy 4:17), I began to learn what it was to be in a true relationship with Christ, and my other relationships began to change as well. As a result, through the redemption of my diversities, I want to share this gift of relationship, love, and freedom with others.

Currently, I continue my walk with God attending church, Bible study, connecting with God's creation, spending time with family and friends, and professing Christ's love through sharing my story of His grace and mercy. I enjoy hiking, learning, and spending time with horses and donkeys (Smile). Mostly, I enjoy hanging out with my husband, cooking big meals for my family, and feeling the exhilaration of being used by God to reach a lost and broken world. Statement of Faith
